One thing that always motivates me to go the beach is its power to relax me. It’s not very often that you get to see a sunrise-gold seashore in a morning like this. That, however, was my privilege as I stared at the foamy sea. Surging ever so gently, it looked at peace in its deep shade of blue. It was so soft that it felt like I was walking on a carpet of candy floss. The golden sand swept around the beach, hemmed in by the towering dunes. Far out to sea, rivers of pulsing light immersed the sea with gold. The horizon appeared to be stitched with a silver line. The seagulls were squawking over my head and squabbling over the pieces of bread that I threw at them.
As the sun burned my body to a crisp, I could feel the saline tang of the sea in the air giving the beach a unique calming mood. I sat there for some time and watched the sun peeking its way above the horizon as if it was scared of casting some light. The smell of the salty sea itched my nose as I breathed in a breath of fresh air. The sand was a minefield of corals, with a collection of many different multi-colored seashells.
The way the sand flowed onto my feet and out to the spaces between my toes made my heart somehow pound like a synchronized drum beat in a marching band. It was as delicate as a newborn baby; the grains were so fine that it could not possibly be visible to the human eye. The sound of the waves was so pleasant that the made me remember all the happy memories of my life. I was stricken by the question of higher creation. How could all this beauty have existed for so long? Who was responsible for such a dazzling creation? I imagined the world being a perfect place, where there is no violence, no hunger and no threat.
Where everyone has a life worth living. I imagined for one second if everybody on this earth just stopped being self centered and just helped others what a difference it would make in our world. So I sat down, watching the sun stretch its way out of bed. The sun worked his way up to the sky, scattering its energy to everything in its sight. Birds were singing into my ear with high spirits, roaming around the sky trying to claim it for itself. The sky shed its color from dark misty indigo to an illuminated shimmering blue sky. Tiny clumps of clouds that were covering the sky slowly dissipated into thin air, and the crystal clear waves looked like sheets of glass, and the cold waters began to heat up. I walked up to the edge of the beach again and dunked my toe into the water.
