The Nervous system helps us control our body and works well with other systems. Some examples would be the Muscle system and the Endocrine system! Therefore, the Nervous system uses the help of these systems to gather and send information throughout the body. The Nervous system also works with another system other than the Muscle system and the Endocrine system. Some of them would be, the Sensory system. Here is more information about the systems the nervous system works with.
Going on, a system that works very well with the nervous system is the muscle system. Next, the Muscle system receives and sends messages to the center of the nervous system(which is the brain) giving what is going on in that part of the body. Furthermore, the Muscle system also has a type of reflex when it is hit. So if it’s hit, the muscle that has been hit sends a signal to the nervous system saying that it’s been hurt and it should do something about it. Therefore, the Nervous system sends back a signal saying to move therefore being a reflex. If the person wants to move, the Nervous system has to send messages and signals to the part of the body that wants to move. For example, if that person wants to move their leg, the Nervous system will tell the Muscle system to contract and move it.
Going on to the other systems, a system that also works with the Nervous system is the Endocrine system. Furthermore, the Endocrine system works with the Nervous system by helping it process the digestion going into the stomach and by producing chemicals to help us function. The Endocrine system also works with the Nervous system by helping it control other parts. Unfortunately, the Endocrine system works slower than the Nervous system, probably taking years to help out. The Endocrine system also helps the Nervous system by regulating the bodily activities going on.
Furthermore, the Sensory system helps the Nervous system a lot. For example, the Sensory system helps the Nervous system by sending signals and messages to the Nervous system on the pain it’s feeling on the sensors. If it feels intense heat in one of the sensors, it will send urgent messages to the Nervous telling to move away from the pain so it wouldn’t get severely hurt. The Sensory system also helps the nervous system by sending signals on how it’s currently feeling. The Sensory system also helps the Nervous system by sending pictures and information on what is currently going outside of the body.
