As stated, Malcom X converted to Islam that was also segregation. He was known for his boldness and beliefs in doing whatever it takes and whatever a person want. When he stated in doing whatever it take, which mean he wanted equal rights also. Malcom X beliefs was also compared to Martin Luther King.
