Solutions of turning the lifestyle from sedentary to active is that we should first set the environmental issues that how is our lifestyle and how we spend our day at office or work station. So the office management should design exercise break for employees to avoid long sitting at same position and there should also be traveling, walking and cycling to promote safe and attractive transport, office management should also do implementation to avoid the harms of sedentary workplace environment and workstation should be well ergonomically designed and employee should give exercise break for being active because sitting or standing long at same position also cause lower back pain which lead to chronic diseases. The most important thing is the working hours. The working hours should be well structured for and profession. The effective working hour is 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with lunch, tea and exercise breaks. Different countries have their own effective working hours which are beneficial for their employees to keep them fit and active rather than sedentary behavior.
Why should we care about sedentary behavior? Because having a high level of sedentary behavior it can contribute to major health diseases like high blood pressure, anxiety, depression which are harmful to health and lead to chronic diseases. It also specially contributes to obesity which is a very serious variable in today’s generation. People who are obese lose their self-confidence, self-esteem and lead to depression and anxiety which simply can causes major health problems. So that is why we should care about sedentary behavior that we should adopt active lifestyle with full of physical exercises.
For having an active lifestyle exercise is needed for daily basis. Here should be at least one hour of physical activity classes in school level. The intensity of their exercises should be moderate first and slowly turning to harder. These exercises are good to conduct on school level like cycling, playground activities, running and swimming. By this you can engaged them in exercise by their own interest. Here should be also activities in curriculum which are mostly by students to their interest. Like allowing them to play sports which they like not which you went. Daily exercise make student to be fit and decrease the injuries and health diseases. In college level we should increase the time from one to two hours according to their age and the people who spend mostly time at home they should also do daily physical exercise at least of one hour to avoid sedentary behavior.
According to Food standard agency, Junk food is a term describing food that is supposed to be malign or harmful or having poor nourishment value. Junk food has increased number of calories but is low in nutritional content, sometime that is appealing or enjoyable but of little or no real value. This kind of diet has no vitamins and minerals. Consumption of junk food and childhood obesity are labeled as most prevalent all around the world not only in emerging countries but also in economically developed countries.
People have neglected that the key reason for diet is nourishment. Fast foods are feasible /within easy reach, pleasing, and are commonly affiliated with sense of westernized feeling in the non-urban countries. The speedy style of living of world may regard as the central reason of the promotion/progress of fast food companies.
Way of living changes has pressurize people so much that one has no time to really think what we are eating is right. Junk food have much terrible impacts which people are unfamiliar of out of many some reasons due to which junk food is bad for your health includes :processed food be the main cause behind your tiredness, it spoils digestion process, it is the reason for variation in blood glucose level, it harms the brain functioning, it raises the risk of heart disease, it can cause kidney disease, it can destroy your liver, it can cause type 2 diabetes mellitus, it increases the risk of cancer development and junk food can also lead to depression in teenagers.
High cholesterol levels, nutritional insufficiency, Fall of muscular mass, Down Heartedness, sexual detoriation, Breathing disorders, Diabetes mellitus type 2, Tumor (kidney, uterine, colon, breast, eosophagus), hepatitis can all be caused by eating junk food frequently. Processed foods have increased levels of fats and sucrose that are not only unsound for health but obsessive and build a venomous cycle making it difficult for teenagers to prefer healthy diet.
