Your hearts starts beating very rapidly. The moment of truth. You open the document, read the paper, only to realize you have just been diagnosed with diabetes. You are in a complete state of shock. Then you realize it’s just too late to prevent it. So I will now show you how you can prevent it. Before it’s too late there are some steps which you can take. This specific protocol can prevent diabetes type 2. Thirty to forty percent of all Americans show signs of pre-diabetes. I will now tell what diabetes is, how to tell if you are on the verge of getting type 2, and the different ways to prevent it. There is no chronological order to prevent diabetes, but in order to prevent, you must follow all these steps.

First of all, I will give you a summary, Diabetes is a disease of the endocrine system. It affects 1 in 11 people around the world. It happens when the blood sugar measured in the body is almost all the time over the normal blood sugar range. At the same time, the pancreas is unable to produce enough insulin or any insulin at all. Tissues and organs start to develop something called insulin resistance. To take down the sugar level, the human body needs insulin to transform glucose into energy. When the pancreas does not produce enough insulin, it is type 2.Diabetes affects the whole body. It affects the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys, and feet. People who are mainly at the risk of getting diagnosed are the ones who are over the age of 45, have a family history of being diagnosed, have an ethnic background of African American, Mexican American, or Pacific island, overweight, and physically inactive.

Diabetes prevention is not easy but very much possible. Being active is probably the most important factor. While being active, the body should have a calorie deficit. A calorie deficit is what makes the body lose weight. The calorie deficit should not be too low as if can affect the overall metabolism of the body. It’s better if you go to a nutritionist, then make the diet yourself. It can result in the body losing muscle instead of fat. Belly fat is one of the most deadly causes of diabetes. Not all fat is equal, for example, the fat in your abdominal area is the most dangerous as it is right next to internal organs. The fat cells pour fatty acids into various parts of the body, for example, the liver, pancreas, heart, and other organs. This causes the insulin and blood sugar to go out of control. If the liver is covered by a huge amount of fat, it can’t respond to the insulin. It is said that a man with a waist circumference greater than 102 cm, and a women with a waist circumference greater than 88 cm are more prone to getting diabetes. That is why it is very important to get rid of all the excess fat around the body. This will help you prevent diabetes as the organs would be able to produce insulin throughout the body. It is very important to make sure there is no excess fat around the waist. The overall target is to be active. Being active will not only make you lose weight but will also increase the body’s overall metabolism.

Bad news to all the smokers reading this article. In order to prevent diabetes, you will have to quit the deadly addiction. Tobacco is said to increase the sugar levels and increase chances of insulin resistance. People who smoke twenty or more cigarettes a day are at double the risk of developing some sort of diabetes. Smoking causes sugar levels to go way beyond their normal levels. This step for some people might take time, but even small progress is fine. Mabey start to cut down on two cigarettes a week. That might sound less but for a heavy smoker its tough. It might seem like ten weeks is a long time to completely stop smoking, but it’s not. Preventing diabetes is not something that will happen overnight. It is something that is going to take long hours and a good amount of effort by the person. It is something that might even take you whole life dedication.

There are many myths which revolve around preventing diabetes. One of the myths is to completely get rid of eating fruits. This myth is one hundred percent false. First of all eating fruits and vegetables lowers the risk and helps fight diabetes. When preventing diabetes, the human body needs to consume a good amount of soluble and insoluble fibers. Fruits and vegetables are two things that are rich in both soluble and insoluble fibers. Portion size is very important when preventing diabetes. It is good to have fruit, but try not to eat a big amount as some do contain an excess amount of sugar. To prevent diabetes the body needs to keep the sugar levels right where needed so that there is no spark or increase within the sugar level. That is what causes diabetes. A spark in the sugar levels can lead to many problems, which can lead you to the hospital bed. That’s why it’s very important to control the amount of sugar the body takes in every day. It’s important to control stress. Stress can lead to stress eating, which is very bad when preventing diabetes.

Vitamins is another very important aspect of preventing diabetes. Vitamin D is one that concerns a lot of people who are either on the verge of having diabetes or have diabetes. Even though you might be living in a country that is constantly sunny, many people have a problem with their vitamin D. If diagnosed with pre-diabetes, it is very important to keep your sugar level at a range of 6mmol/l fasting or 8.7mmol/l after a meal. It is also very important to have a control on your carb intake. For example, when the bread is broken down in the body, it turns into glucose which increases the sugar levels. Foods with a high amount of carbohydrates include Biscuits, Macaroni, Bread, Pudding, Honey, etc. Some symptoms of pre-diabetes include blurry vision, constantly being hungry, sexual problems, sudden weight loss, frequent urination, and wounds that take a long time to heal. The diet of a person who is trying to prevent diabetes should contain a daily source of essential fats. It’s important to add items you like in your diet, as if you don’t you will start to get hunger cravings which will lead to eating an excess amount of sugar. An example of essential fats is flax seeds. It is said that every two hours a person watches tv instead of being outside, getting physical activity, it increases your chances of diabetes by twenty percent. It’s good to completely get rid of sodas, but even a small step by drinking one a day can help you increase your chances of getting rid of this deadly disease. Loosing just about five to ten percent of the body’s total weight can lower your blood sugar levels, cholesterol levels, and also your blood pressure. There are many different myths associated with diabetes, for example, a diabetic patient in order to survive will need a special diabetic meal. This isn’t true. Eating healthy is the basic principle in curing diabetes. Eating healthy provides the essential benefits, and after eating healthy for just 3 weeks, you will start to notice the changes taking place. You will see yourself losing weight, and you will feel much healthier.

In conclusion, these are the basic steps in trying to prevent the deadly disease of diabetes. Even though to some people this disease comes genetically, there are a lot of ways to reduce your possibilities of having diabetes your whole life, The basic ways to prevent diabetes is to stay active, quit smoking, lose weight, turn of the TV, eat healthy, limit red meat, and to try your best to limit sugary drinks. There is no specific order you need to follow to prevent diabetes. The main task is just to make sure you don’t skip a step. The two main steps are to be active and eat healthy. These are the two steps which can lower your chances of having it forever. It’s the steps which count. It might not be easy, but in the end you might be lucky enough to prevent your chances of having diabetes. It won’t happen overnight. It’s a dedicated job in which a person with pre-diabetes should definitely take. Even though it might not completely prevent you from getting diagnosed some time in your life, it can sure delay the date you are diagnosed. Don’t get let down if you don’t get overnight results, it will take time. It is worth the wait.
