When we venture into unfamiliar grounds, which happens a lot of times, we tend to pack a lot and among the things we pack is fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear is not bad. Fear makes us to be cautious, and help us to be careful enough and not hurt ourselves and our loved ones. Fear makes us want to win and gives addition boost of energy born of our fear of failure. It has a positive and negative side. It is negative when it stops us from doing the things we need to do, to become the people we want to be to access our potential. At this fear becomes a baggage that we don’t need and extracting it becomes our primary goal. Fear that informs your choice with care is good. One that stops you from trying new things in life, taking risks that will open new doors, this is extra weight that needs to be shade.
The impression that I give out is very important. You can give out a wrong impression of yourself and this will ruin your reputation and cost you an opportunity. The opposite of that is being trapped in the bubble of the concern of looking good. This will inevitably result in inauthenticity. If your goal is to look good then you lose the authenticity of involvement. This will cloud your mind and impair your judgment. It will be like a shade on your eyes you can’t see clearly. This concern is one other weight that needs to be shade off. You don’t need this in your quest to move forward or advance yourself. When you pack remember to not pack this concern of looking good and leave it as extra weight that needs to be left behind.
Anxiety is another element that in most cases than not will need to be left far behind. When you are anxious you cause panic, and awaken fear among other things and it takes you away from the real experience. We can definitely do without anxiety.
Over confidence born of a number of wins, achievements in history can cause one to be over confident and neglect the very thing that will take him out or bring him up. Same as being stuck in your concern of looking good, over confidence clouds our minds. Yet another weight not to take aboard. We need it to stay back and not be found amongst our packed pile of things and weight we think we need. Check your luggage to make sure you got half of what you think you need. Shade off all the unwanted weight, from expectations that we form for others and situations. Fear; fear that stops you from going for your heart’s desire. The concern of looking good that bars you from experiencing others as a possibility. Take away the anxiety, over confidence and be ready to fly with the eagles. For you are an eagle!
